“That this Council, in accordance with Section 37, Chapter 6 of the Housing (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2009 agrees the Draft Homeless Action Plan Framework for the Dublin Region, 2019 to 2021.”

“That this Council agrees that the Draft Scheme of Priority for Affordable Housing, in line with S.I No 81 of 2019 is wholly inadequate for Dún Laoghaire Rathdown as it does not cater for those who are from the County but are forced to live outside it due to unaffordable rents, nor does it cater for those who are living outside the County but whose support networks are within the County. We therefore request the Minister to revise the eligibility criteria to take this into account.”

Community Sports Facility in Kilbogget Park

"That this Council supports the development of a shared community sports facility in Kilbogget Park, recognises that this proposal accords with our county's sports facilities strategy of shared use, acknowledged that the proposal would benefit thousands of residents in the area, and calls on the chief executive to explore all means of funding and advancing this project, including but not limited to, LSSIF stream 1 and stream 2 funding."

"That the Chief Executive should explore the prospect of possible external funding obtainable to reactivate the old Carnegie Library building in Dun Laoghaire for a project promoting both tourism and culture that would be compatible with " Investing in our Culture, Language and Heritage 2018-2027",  Fáilte Ireland's "Grants Scheme for Large Tourism Projects 2016-2020" (and beyond those years in relation to any successor scheme), plus examination of potential support available through EU funding streams, such as those referred to in the "Guide on EU Funding for the Tourism Sector 2014-2020" and tentatively referred to within the new Council of the European Union "Work Plan for Culture 2019-2022.”

“That this Council agrees to write to M50 Concessions requesting they remove the litter/rubbish from the grass verges/hard shoulders/roads and maintain the grass verges/hard shoulders/roads so they remain litter free on the roads they are responsible for within the functional area of Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.
