"That the Chief Executive provide two smart bins on Deansgrange Road, on the section between Deansgrange Cross and Deansgrange Cemetery, to mitigate littering in that area, where a number of new businesses have been established and pedestrian footfall has increased."

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPROVEMENT SCHEME FOR KILLINEY BEACH

“That the Chief Executive report on the need for a cross Council departmental environment improvement scheme for Killiney Beach. To include the scale of works required with phased timelines and to commence consultations with the relevant stakeholders.”

8.

THE GLEN ESTATE, GLENAGEARY

“That the Chief Executive carries out an inspection and repairs the following items within The Glen estate, Glenageary;

1) The footpath between (number supplied) and Glengara Nursing Home
2) That all of the gullies are cleared out
3) The road within the estate is resurfaced
4) That the green open space within the estate is properly maintained and landscaped

and to state when the above works will be done.”

PUBLIC REALM, BALLYBRACK AND LOUGHLINSTOWN

“That this Committee discuss the apparent deterioration in the environment of the public realm in the recent period in Ballybrack and Loughlinstown, and calls on the Chief Executive to ensure that progressive measures such as alternatives to Glyphosate are continued whilst also ensuring adequate resources and personnel, be it direct Council staff, contract or otherwise are in place to improve the public realm and prevent any further deterioration.”

BASKETBALL NET INSTALLATION, BLACKROCK PARK

“That the Chief Executive install a basketball net on the currently unused court in Blackrock Park between the Martello Tower and the 'circus car park' (53°18'24.7"N 6°11'22.0"W), for lines to be painted to indicate a half-court, and for funds to be made available for the completion of these works.”

LICENCING AGREEMENT, PEARSE ROVERS FOOTBALL CLUB

“That this Area Committee urges the Chief Executive to progress and agree a lease and licensing agreement between this Council and Pearse Rovers Football Club, as a matter of urgency so that the club can submit their own planning permission for a clubhouse and therefore be in a position to apply for a grant from the Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport in 2020.”

“That the Chief Executive agrees to provide a traffic warden at the crossing at Booterstown National School on Cross Avenue, as well as reassessing the parking in the area to allow for safer crossing of the school children.”

19.

TWO HOUR PARKING LIMIT, SHANKILL VILLAGE

“That this Area Committee asks the Chief Executive to bring a request to the Traffic Action Group to introduce a two hour parking limit in Shankill village between 08:00 and 17:00 hours Monday to Saturday.”

20.

BUS STOP RELOCATION

“That the Chief Executive in conjunction with the National Transport Authority consider relocating the bus stops at the junction of Corke Abbey Avenue/Dublin Road/Old Connaught Avenue to the Bray side of the junction.”
