“That the Chief Executive would introduce safety measures on the footpath running down the length of (address supplied) and indicate what measures will be taken to lessen the slope or erect a barrier as children on skateboards/bikes come down here at speed to the end of the path which is a blind spot for both children and traffic.”

 

 

The Report was unanimously AGREED.

A Summary of the Members views on the proposed development was AGREED and will be forwarded to An Bord Pleanála.

It was proposed by Councillor S. Nic Cormaic and seconded by Councillor S. Brennan, Councillor K. Furlong, Councillor S. O’Neill and Councillor P. Hand.

 

“To suspend Standing Orders to discuss the following;

To request the council to urgently carry out a full inspection into the health and safety and general operating conditions of the construction site of the part 8 development at Rosemount estate to report on the outcome of this investigation and to provide a dedicated point of contact with whom residents can liaise.”

 

 

The motion was unanimously AGREED.
