It was proposed by Councillor C. Curran and seconded by Councillor S. Nic Cormaic.

 

“That this Committee agrees that the €25,838 spent on window repairs in the

Samuel Beckett Civic Campus is unacceptable and avoidable by taking measures to reduce the risk. It also agrees that the thousands of decorative stones positioned directly in front of the windows only serves to increase the risk of further breakages. This Committee also agrees that the stones should be removed.”

 

The motion was unanimously AGREED.

It was proposed by Councillor B. Saul and seconded by Councillor J. Kennedy

 

To suspend Standing Orders to discuss the following Motion;

 

“To ask the manager to provide a planning report on the total number of car parking spaces that have been granted permission for the Commercial area of Deerpark road Mount Merrion and to enter the item as a headed item for the September Dundrum area committee meeting.”

 

The motion was unanimously AGREED.
