“That the Chief Executive engage with Councillors (in particular the Councillor representatives on the Joint Policing Committee) to put forward the case for a Local Policing Forum for the Dundrum area.”

A discussion took place, during which Ms. M. Ruane, Senior Executive Officer, Community and Cultural Development Department responded to Members’ queries.
The report of the Chief Executive was NOTED. It was NOTED that a preliminary meeting is being arranged by the Joint Policing Committee in the new year with An Garda Siochána to discuss the case for a Local Policing Forum in Dundrum and Stillorgan. The Dundrum Area Committee’s request to invite the Dundrum and Stillorgan LEA members to attend the preliminary meeting was NOTED. |
