“That this Committee, noting the longstanding traffic and parking problems at the Lakelands shops, Kilmacud, requests the Chief Executive to provide a detailed and comprehensive report outlining solutions to same at the May Area Committee meeting”

- noting that the last survey by the Council showed that mean speeds were above 30k

- noting increased traffic levels due to additional schools, residential development and employment levels generally?”

“That this Committee requests the Chief Executive to not allow pedestrian access onto Springfield Lane from Carrickmines Manor until suitable upgrade works have taken place to Springfield Lane to ensure safe use of the lane by all users in the interest of health and safety.”

“That the Chief Executive examine the feasibility of a pedestrian crossing across Taney Road between Stoney Road and Birches Lane.
-Noting that R112 is a very busy road
-Noting new bus route 175 stopping at this location
-Noting that this forms a route from Taney estate via the Black/Yellow Lane to Taney Church, Parish Centre and Schools.”

"To ask the Chief Executive to consider a Big Belly bin for the Walkway between Leopardstown Road and Brewery Road, in order to help cut down on litter through the Leopardstown area. At the recent clean up over 20 bags were collected with much of the litter coming from passing pedestrians?"

“That the Chief Executive would arrange for the repair and upgrading of the area where Cornelscourt Hill Road meets the Old Bray Road. This area was refurbished some years ago but has become neglected and now requires maintenance. The area abuts the Roe stoneworks and many of the tiles have become broken with weeds coming up through the cracks and it needs a good clean up.”

Thiswould include fully accessible toilets which include to bewhich include the following extra features -height-adjustable, adult-sized changing bench, ceiling tracking hoist system, height-adjustable wash-hand basin, adequate space for person with a disability and up to two assistants (12 metres squared), centrally located toilet with space both sides for assistants, privacy screen, wide paper roll and large waste disposal bin?”
