To ask the Chief Executive to install a new pedestrian crossing outside Rosemont school and FernHill Gardens on the Enniskerry Road? Children attending the school and coming from the Stepaside side need to walk down to Lambs Cross to be able to cross and return back up the Enniskerry Road.”

"To ask the Chief Executive whether the new cycle track arrangements - as one cycles away from Stillorgan Village on the Lower Kilmacud Road before the junction of Upper Kilmacud Road/South Avenue - can be made more safe, for example through an attempt to replicate the more perceived safety for cyclists applicable in Temple Hill, Blackrock?"

“That the Chief Executive, noting the investment in the Slang River Greenway and noting the importance of active transport and road safety, reviews the intersection of the Slang River Greenway and the entrance to the carpark at DLR Leisure services/St Attractas' National School, with a view to enhancing the safety for Greenway users and
with the aim of slowing traffic which is using the entrance/exit to the to the car park and protects pedestrians using the area, including users of the green space and Meadowbrook pitches, and also pedestrians and cyclists on Acorn Road, - and to implement any necessary engineering works or signage to achieve this.”

“That this Area Committee fully supports Ballinteer Men’s Shed in their bid to secure a permanent home, giving the social inclusion initiative their own independence and also help reach its full potential. Noting the great work the social inclusion initiative has done in tackling social isolation and loneliness in the mature area of Ballinteer, as well as building the wellbeing of men in the community, maintaining men’s mental health etc. since its establishment in April 2017.”
