“That the Chief Executive, noting the investment in the Slang River Greenway and noting the importance of active transport and road safety, reviews the intersection of the Slang River Greenway and the entrance to the carpark at DLR Leisure services/St Attractas' National School, with a view to enhancing the safety for Greenway users and with the aim of slowing traffic which is using the entrance/exit to the to the car park and protects pedestrians using the area, including users of the green space and Meadowbrook pitches, and also pedestrians and cyclists on Acorn Road, - and to implement any necessary engineering works or signage to achieve this.”

Noting the great work the social inclusion initiative has done in tackling social isolation and loneliness in the mature area of Ballinteer, as well as building the wellbeing of men in the community, maintaining men’s mental health etc. since its establishment in April 2017.”
