A discussion took place in which it was AGREED to amend the decision on minute DDMUN/125/19 to 'The motion was AGREED'.

 

 

It was PROPOSED by Councillor T. Murphy, SECONDED by Councillor P. O’Brien and AGREED that the minutes of the meeting of Dundrum Area Committee held on 7th October 2019 be ADOPTED and APPROVED.

“That the Chief Executive conduct a review of signposting (including Council signposts) and other poles along Main Street Dundrum to assess their continued relevance, the state of repair of poles, and where these are no longer appropriate or needed, to arrange for their removal by the Council in the case of Council owned signs, or by the relevant state body owner.”

 

The report of the Executive was ACCEPTED and it was AGREED that a report be brought back to a future meeting for the Area Committee, as a Headed Item.

“That the Chief Executive and Parks Department plant the roundabout at the junction of Barton Road and Nutgrove Way with pollinator friendly plants, be they meadow flowers, shrubs or trees. Noting that DLR has become a partner in the All-Ireland Pollinator Plan and that planting of roundabouts is one of the suggested actions in the plan.”
