It was proposed by Councillor J. Gildea and seconded by Councillor J Cuffe
“That this Area Committee requests the Chief Executive to review, as a matter of urgency, the operation of the traffic signals at the junction of the N11 and Johnstown Road, Cabinteely with a view to improving the flow of traffic through the junction, particularly road users exiting Johnstown Road and Shrewsbury Lawn. It is noted that, since the layout of the junction has changed, very considerable delays are being experienced by motorists.”
The report of the A/Senior Engineer, Traffic Section was ACCEPTED.

“That this Area Committee supports the moving of a bus stop 7634 from Pottery Road to an earlier location on Johnston Road, and that the Committee will write to Dublin Bus to inform them of same.”
A show of hands vote was requested. The result was as follows: FOR: 15 AGAINST: 3.
It was agreed to write to Dublin Bus requesting clarification on the issues concerned.
